Do you want the opportunity to make a REAL difference to people’s lives? We have positions for Casual Individualised Funding Coaches to become part of our growing team. This is a dynamic role supporting people to manage their government funded supports. You will be part of a national team of Coaches and will be working with people and their families/whanau to have more flexibility and autonomy in how they purchase support to live the life of their choice in their own homes and communities.
We are looking for Casual Coaches for Auckland (one position) and Christchurch (one position).
This role requires excellent organisational, relationship development, people focus, teaching and learning, time management, and problem solving skills. It also requires a strong background and expertise in the Health and Disability sector, and familiarity with business processes.
You ideally will have at least 5 years experience in the Health and Disability sector and previous experience in a clinical or direct support setting is an advantage. A solid understanding and knowledge of the Social Construct Model of Disability is essential. Experience in a business and/or management position is beneficial, as is experience with mentoring and teaching, or otherwise facilitating learning.
