Self Managing
If you are going to manage your funds yourself – you will be responsible for the following:

Deciding what support is needed, and where, when and how it will be provided;

Completing the required paperwork needed each fortnight to claim for the hours of support that have been provided;

Keep all relevant records related to the your supports, including bank records, time sheets and the like for the purposes of audit and evaluation by the Ministry of Health;

Recruiting or contracting your own staff to provide the support you want;

Keeping track of your support hours used;
-
Negotiating employment agreements or Contract for Service with the people you want to provide your support;

Paying your staff;
-
Completing all tax requirements including PAYE, ACC and Kiwisaver.
Manawanui Payroll Services
If you would like Manawanui to manage your payroll for you – you would be responsible for all the above requirements other than the last two – being:
